In this photo, I remember there is that Filipino folk song about a drunkard fisherman named Felimon. After fishing, he got drunk for drinking 'Tuba" a native coconut wine. Drinking of 'Tuba" wine is a very common vice among the folks in any rural villages in the countryside. I hope this man will not follow Felimon. His family is looking after him and he has children to feed.

Hi - my Dad used to produce "Tuba" too for personal use only ... but he was not a drunkard (smile)... Tuba doesn't always make one to be a drunkard ... it is also a medicine like any other wine ... if you consume it with the right dose though ... just like any other med ... I like your stories and your photos ... and your adventures. Keep up the good work.

Again, your snapshot opens my eyes. In Indonesia, fishermans also live in rural villages and in every bit in early moment of morning, they search for fish in the sea and they go home when the evening comes--for their lovely family.
