A jeepney is the most common means of transport all throughout the Philippines. Jeepneys were derived from a jeep used by the US forces during the WWII. After then, the jeeps were modified by Filipino craftsmen and are now being used for private and public transports. Some other countries in Africa, then the Papua New Guinea now import jeepneys from the Philippines.
