I could not resist taking pictures of Mt. Mayapay, simply maybe because I am greatly fascinated by this huge mountain. Who else would not be tempted to do so upon looking at this very magnificient scenery? This view was taken as I drew nearer closed to this foot of the lovely Mt. Mayapay.

Beautiful pictues, the Philippines is truly a natural paradise, especially the south.
I left the Philippines long time ago and I haven't been to the many beautiful places of our country.
Although I came back four years ago and many mountains in Subic Bay where we used to go hiking with my friends to go to the beach are now but bald mountains and populated housing.
Preservation must be done to our natural gifts if it is not too late.....-

hello Sir, you are right. Watershed programs are initiated here. Now the mountains start to green again especially in my place. People here are now more concious. And I am very glad for that.
Your posts speak your sense of nationalism, your devotion to our country though you are far away but your heart is still here. I commend you!

The Philippines was the most progressive country second only to Japan in the 50's after the war, what happenned. Filipinos have the brains to do it. It is widespread corruption, especially the government that is the cancer that has left us quite behind the Asian tigers. Yes, I wish Filipinos can stay in the paradise islands called Philippines instead of loosing our best doctors working as nurses abroad, engineers as technicians, university grad women working as domestics for the simple reason there are no jobs at home, nor the government will take care of you if you can't find a job. It's a real shame! This is from a country who invented the fluorescent lamp and of cours the 'yoyo'!

Hopefully, we can move on and learn from our mistakes. It's a sad fact that no else is to be blamed but those corrupt people running the affairs of our government. May 14 National Elections is coming and we hope that it would be an honest, peaceful and successful election.

To say the least,
Your shot to my eyes is like a feast,
It's made my heart swell with joy,
You handle your camera like a toy,
I can see the lovely sunrise,
And also get a glimpse of Paradise!
O'h what a bountiful feast,
That's just to say the least.-
