What makes the place not lovable are the people in it. I agree that Marawi is a very dirty place. In my opinion, the local government of the city is not that very strict to implement rules. Marawi City's location is I guess at par with Baguio City as a vacation place for its cool climate. Well, the culture is very different anyway! I doubt if multi more…

Some Filipinos have emigrated here. We haven't had any problems that I recall. Being Christian they obviously fit in well.
